So, the exam fever is on. I’m done with the 4th year classes which were awesome. Unlike the previous 4 years (pre-med including), which was pretty boring and even suicidal at times. With all the stupid colloqiums and tests, sometimes I felt like I was back to school. But the clinical years do compensate in that the exams are far tougher and brain wrecking. At times, suicidal tendencies do appear but I’m getting better at fighting it of. I’ve got 3 exams this semester, Therapy, Surgery and Neurology. I’ve just cleared Therapy yesterday and damn it feels awesome. Finally, I had a good nights sleep. I’ve got to say Therapy was the hardest to study. Even though its interesting, there still is so much to study and to digest. My brain just isn’t used to absorbing this much information. Next in line, Surgery which I heard is a breeze and Neurology in which I know absolutely nothing about, sadly. But on the bright side, my biggest headache was Therapy and with that gone, I can rest and study in peace. And if all goes well, on the 19th June, I’m free from exams and for once I can enjoy Moscow with out worrying about exams and classes and zachuts.
Besides that, I’ve not much updates. After the exams are over, I’ve got the summer practicals going on. We’ll be the first batch to experience it and I must say, I am kinda looking forward to it. Summer in Moscow might be pretty awesome without classes. Weather should be pretty good then. I can already imagine me and the guys heading out to the hospitals in the day and coming back to a few cold beers in the hot July sun. Maybe even a 2nd barbeque, outdoor games, who knows what can happen then.
This year could just be a good year for super cars. With the release of the 458 Italia in its full awesomeness, the McLaren MP4-12c with challenging specs, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS with its brilliance, the birth of new Lamborghini and not forgetting the Mercedes SLS AMG with the gulf wing doors as well as the stunning Aston Martin One-77. The list could go one, but this would suffice. The European economy is crashing, the RM is getting stronger surprisingly but welcomed of course, the massive oil spills in the Mexican Gulf, some Dubai sky scrapper bailed out by some Abu Dhabi billionaire and me inheriting all the money in the world and splashing it on myself. The last one was just bull but there is nothing wrong in wishing for that to happen. Anyway, the cars are massive and the competition is getting crazier. Companies are investing more and more in power and the same time being sensitive about the environment. I fail to see how they could marriage both of these together. But that is none of my business. I know nothing about automotive engineering and carbon footprints.
With all of the crap said above (depending on how you view it), good luck for your exams, study hard and party harder after that. Cheers !
